Wow, I'm on a roll here. Now featuring Kaistern, as he sports a yukata, represents summer, and holds a dango stick!
Wait, what's that? Mochi is a winter only food? Well, according to Wiki, dango, aka mochi shish kabob, can be served year round. So ha! I win! (Not really, I still lose).
Actually, to be honest as I was researching mochi I wasn't really able to confirm if it's okay to have it in the summer or not. Since it's typically associated with New Year's though, I suppose it's a little odd? Well, I like mochi, and that's why Kaistern has some. I've never had skewered mochi though.
But! I was able to find out about the "Dango Daikazoku" song during my research. How amazing, a song about mochi! Although, actually I have heard the song before, but when they said "dango" I thought they were referring to the Chinese word for cake... in Cantonese so, I suppose that should have struck me as odd. What a linguistic coincidence though, dango and dango.
This is my second drawing done in Sai, and I have to say, I think I'm enjoying the program very much. It's sort of like how I imagined Painter to be, except without the ten thousand extra buttons that only serve to confuse.

Finally getting back through all my new deviations from the clubs switching to groups... and man, I just love all of these! They're so darn cute.
Now if only they'd randomly turned into miniature dragons (and darnas and purple cockatoos) in the real series. XD
