Malachite Selfie

Wow, I can't believe I forgot to upload one of my most popular SU fanarts on Tumblr! lol.

Well, I completed Malachite here back in the summer for Otakon's 2015 Artist Alley. I was stuck for a while on how to draw Malachite, she's one of my favorite fusions but I was having trouble coming up with a good print idea.  Then, I thought it'd be pretty funny to see her uncharacteristically happy, and that her many hands would be great for those Japanese photo booth poses.  The original version was also going to have little angry Jasper and Lapis doodles along with anime sparkles, in true purikura style, but it ended up looking a little tacky so I cut the idea.  I really had a lot of fun with the water on this one!

She was pretty popular during the convention run, and now prints of her are available in my Etsy store!
