Description
My second project from Intro to Sequential at SCAD. We had to take a fable or a fairy tale and turn it into a comic with pantomime or icons to communicate. I chose the story of the Bird and the Ant, but changed the characters around a little bit.
I was originally planning on both toning and coloring this comic as well as making a fifth page before posting it up, but I was quite saddened by how after working so hard on this comic, I didn't get to go during the class critique! Sadness! I have somehow had the good fortune to not have this happen at all in a class yet, but wow, it really isn't awesome to run out of time!
So, I also did a really fast job of clean up as well! Hope it doesn't look too bad, but the finished version shall be better. I was really happy with how I challenged myself to do a lot more backgrounds, seeing as my griffin comic took place mostly in white limbo.
I only threw this into manga because I can't figure out the ever changing categories! I mean really, what's the point of separating manga from comics?
